Deluxe room with garden views became available last night as John had to cancel his room - so still room at the Inn.
Long range forecast looking like this is now on. A high pressure system looks to be dominating the South Coast into next week with well spaced isobars. Forecast for Saturday 12th at the moment to be SSE F2 - F3 and similar on the Sunday. Coupled with neap tides should make a pleasant cruise over. However it can all change
Some rather nice chaps over at Osprey Ribs have kindly donated some T Shirts for each RIB that joins the cruise over to Cherbourg, numbers are limited but should be enough for at least one if not two T shirts per RIB

Your going to look like an invasion fleet, hope you all got necessary paperwork at hand, expect you will be intercepted, might be worth letting them know your intention beforehand and make sure you do have all the paperwork you may need to show. Good luck everyone.

Well we loose Rockanrolla
But Bystander + 1 just confirmed
Just hope there's enough T shirts for the number of RIBs, certainly not enough for the number of crew

A photo taken from the top of the Needles of the flotilla gathering and departing would be great to have.

Weather forecasts are now changing, some saying E 2 -3 for Saturday and Sunday. Another site giving 20 kn from the NW for Sunday with wave heights of 1.7m duration 5 second intervals. Should have a better idea by Wednesday once more data is available !
Will have to wait to book anywhere for food until nearer the time.
