Phil,

It was a tough call as it seems nice when your inside looking out at the blue sky. But it is windy even 50 miles in land.

Plenty more chances to get out later this year. Keep an eye out for my posts.

Nick.

Would have been a howler today and - figures on the wind chill. Still, would have been good practice if you where going on an endurance event or something.

With this cold snap upon us, perhaps we could start planning a summer cruise over a long weekend to a more challenging destination, France, Channel Islands, Scilly Islands or whatever?

Andy,

I'm well up for that. Alderney was great last year. But would need a lot of notice to get leave etc.

Do you want to start a new thread ?

I am keen to do a couple of longer cruises next year. There was a really good artcile about the Scillies in RIB Int a while back and I can see that being a great destination for a long weekend mid summer. St Martin's looked to be the best island for camping mooring etc. http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...ite/index.html

However how about a Spring trip to Alderney if 2008 is anything like 2007 we can expect some of the best weather in April / May?

Chris

Hi Phil
The next meeting of the Cabinet (Biboa general meeting ) is in Feb
It would be nice to be armed with a cruise, if you fancy organizing or even co organizing a cruise i will put it forward with a date for the calender.
I enjoyed the cruise the other day it was fun and a real mix of people and ribs
its what cruising in company is all about.
