next years holls booked

just got home to be informed by me mrs she and some friends have booked 3 statics at sunnybrae on the island of luing near oban for next june we even have a pontoon and waters edge vans looks great cant wait

You are a lucky man, my mrs would have booked some where bloody miles from the water and pubs. I dream of getting a pontoon within a mile. Still love her though.

just looking on the campsites website it says not suitable for skiing or jet ski,s is this a definite no no as one of our party was wanting to bring a jet ski as well as a rib there will be two sibs as well as half a dozen kayaks

Great location Beerbelly ! I hope you have a great time and get some decent (not hailstones/torrential rain) weather when you're up there !

Hopefully the restrictions will only apply in the vicinity of the pontoons. I'm sure you'll find a quiet corner up there.

haha after this year at clachtol (we were there when the tail end of that hurricane struck) and having one of the few tents still standing and a lot of rain I know what to expect.

You couldn't make it up !! Red hot July, fantastic September and a bloody tail end of a tropical storm in August..

I once had two weeks on Mull in June about 30 years ago and it was better than the Greek islands. Waterskied all the way from Fionnphort to Fingles cave on a millpond of a sea passing dolphins !

One year it'll happen again.

I had a look on sunnybrae website it look a great site to stay on our holiday is already booked for next year at Oban so maybe sunnybrae is one for the future 😎👍

The reason they say it's not suitable for jet skis and waterskiing is that it's located in the middle of the Cuan Sound one of the many channel with big tidal races combined with rocky shores and busy narrow channel with ferry traffic.
