Having read reports of NWR trips they sound like great fun - not to mention interesting at times!

I'm new to the whole ribbing thing (did powerboat level 2 this summer and caught the bug) and only own a 3.5m so I'm not too sure about some of the winter weather. Any chance of joining another boat (I'd be willing to contribute to fuel) for any of these trips?

Tim

A drysuit is well worth having Tim and possibly a helmet also as repeated splashes from wintry seas can really affect body temp.

Hi Tim

We will try and find you a ride. You should be fine on the next trip in your rib, its looking like a play on the menai straits rather than the wind farms.

Hi Jono,

There are details posted on Club Powerboat.ie about the annual Kinsale to Wales RIB raid at http://www.powerboat.ie/forums/showthread.php?t=60 .

Forgive me if it has already been mentioned here by the participants !

Not sure if you have organised a reception on this side for when you arrive in Arklow on your run.

Feel free to post details of the Arklow run on our site if you like.

Let me know if you have groups of over say 10 boats coming as I may be able to pull some strings with the Irish Tourist Board.

Kind regards,

Stuart

Arklow windfarms

Jono et al

sorry to be first to the Arklow Windfarm for 2006.

See

http://www.rib.net/forum/showthread....9&page=1&pp=10

Great day out.

We found Greystones harbour excellent for lunch stop.

Also found two beach landing stops,

Blaineroe beach is suitable and Newcastle beach at river entrancee.

See you all in Feb

Rgds

Hi Jono,

I was away last week and had problems downloading my email when we got heavily spammed.

I think I may have lost an email from you .

If so, can you resend to stuart@powerboat.ie or pm me here !

Kind regards,

Stuart
