Northwest RIBsters second meeting

August 23/24 has been suggested for the next meeting for the Northwest RIBsters in the Conwy area. Details not confirmed, other than the dates at this stage, but numbers attending would be useful to arrange a room to meet in on the Saturday.
RIBs welcome for some fun on the water over the weekend, and B&B can be arranged in the lacal area.
No specific topic arranged so ideas or a general social get together.
Please post to this thread or PM me or Kevin Goulding with numbers and any ideas you have. We had a good turn out at the resurected first meeting so let's keep the regional flag flying!

Which one, second in North Wales or third in Blackpool/Fleetwood? And are you up for the IOM trip at the end of this month?

Ah....sorry Ian.....

I was replying to this thread....re; August trip....however....having just given up motorsports which I have been doing for the last 18 years I've decided to go back to Ribbing and enjoy water instead of tarmac

I'm up for any meets/trips, whenever/wherever....plenty of seating always available

I'm off to the States next Wednesday though until 3td July so presume I'll miss your next one

All the best

Chris

Hi folks

Have to count me out on the August one, already on holiday with the RIB down south wales at Milford Haven.

May consider coming up for the day depending on weather though, but would need to be have good conditions as its 150 miles each way.

Regards Gary

NWRibsters 2nd meeting & Cruise

OK, that's the first NWR Cruise completed with some success and some pain, 7 of us departed but only 6 returned!
Time to start planning the next. Conwy as a base with various options available. Already posted a possible agenda but open to ideas. Anything that avoids Puffin Island would be more than appreciated, honest!
Book the dates in your diary now so no clashes occur, August 23/24 and poss. 25.
If it turns out anything like the weekend just gone you're in for a great time.

Might have someone else interested for when we finally get round to doing the Isle of Man run. Was chatting with one of the blokes at the dive club tonight who has his own RIB, and he said it's a run he's wanted to do for years, but for obvious reasons didn't fancy it alone.

Get him involved in the NWR. Just like diving, you spend as much time underwater as above, if you're with me anyway.
