NWR at it again
this time it's an 11am launch at Menai Bridge slip with probable stop in Caernarfon for lunch then playtime on the straits!
Forcast is -5 overnight warming upto +2 so should be a typical northern summer day out! If you're there you're there.
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 31 2003!

How can you call for a meet when you DON'T have a rib at the mo.
What a cheek
(Paul wrote that...please don't take any notice Ian-missus)

just to put the story straight!
Phil Davies called it but hasn't got access to the internet at his current location on Anglesey so as a FRIEND! I said I'd post the notice for him.
Didn't realise I was in for an arsewhipping for doing a good turn for a fellow RIBnet member at this festive time of the year.
Maybe there's no room at the 'Jackinn' in February for those lacking a waterborne mode of transport at this moment in time.

I knew he'd cause trouble...I've sent him to bed without his spuds...We've got a longish sofa all ready for yourself Ian in Feb ...just remember; it's ribs v. HBoats ....NOT NWR vs. Southern Wusses!!!!!!
Have a nice time tomorrow & Happy New Year to you, Debs & family
Missus & Jackeen

Re: He's from Dublin Officer...
You are sweet, don't let him have his Frosties in the morning either!
So long as it's not 'have ribs vs have nots'
I'm sure there will be some posts tomorrow PM about the day. The weather sure looks interesting.
The very best for 2004 to you to 'Missus'

This is a post on behalf of those NWR's who HAVE rib's but who haven't got internet access where they are at this time of year!
Launched at around 11:30 from Menai Bridge slip and headed west under the bridges. Low water showed the Swellies off at their best and the snow laden backdrop of Snowdonia made the views stunning. Off to Caernarvon past the various landmarks of the Strait's and under Caernarfon Pier before heading off to the bar and out to sea. By the way this is the Caernarfon Bar, not the pub.
Heading in the direction of Pilots Cove we all chose to reroute back into the straights as the windchill made the breath freeze. It really was cold!
A stop off at 'The Anglesey' pub where no food was being served so a few liquid lunches consumed and viewing the blood spattered ceiling of the establishment. Jahno will have to explain this one to you.
Back to the ribs and back through the straights to recover MeMe as he and I had to leave around 3pm to get to parties tonight. Jahno and Amy onboard the refurbished Llynhome along with Phil and his 'friend' Tim in Phil's Searider headed out again towards Beaumaris. They shot off east as we drove off so I'm sure other posts will follow to add some detail. Photo's will no doubt follow later as well.
This was a day for an SLR camera and zoom lens instead of digital as the mountains and views were magnificent.
Happy New Year to one and all, well not all, but inparticular his Missus!!!
