Have a good day.... Shopping!
(revenge for all those summer trips you do when I'm babysitting or working )

Time to open up the V6 and see if I can shift some weed off the hull! end of season blast for me.

Telco

Well we sat in front of the Gazelle until 12. Ask any of the others, no rib in site. We were there from 11.20, I can't say fairer than what we said. Still buy you a beer if we catch up! Sat in gazelle now. Didnt get your post from 11.28 and sent you a pm yesterday you hadn't got back to me on.

Yeh, there was nice white pointy thing, a dark blue one, not so pointy an a black an yellow one kinda like a cardinal
Well, quite like a cardinal cos it's bum was full of weed an stuff!!
An Me an DM in a another kinda orangy pointy one
DM did tell me what makes they all were I remember what one we were on cos it said 'Aircraft' on it somewhere but can't remember what the other makes were.
DM says its me age and I should get a life an stop going on YBW .com now I got a RIB.
Anyway we stopped at Puffin and looked at a couple of seals
Maiden (for me) voyage/ shakedown trip.
Some water seemed to come in at the blunt end
Then DM said 'the seal has gone'!
Terwat, I shat meself
The seal had dived
Terwat
Lots of saily flappy whatsits about and Scot from Menai with his big dive rib had deployed divers at Puffin so we shot off (well, kinda) cos the cardinal rib was maxing at 25 kts (quite quick fer a cardinal hactually) but it was nice and we went up the river a bit
Well tother three did
Me an DM parked on a pontoon fer abit
Trim was playing up so DM 'fixed' it temporarily like
Then we left tothers, they were scoffing and drinking der know!!
We went back to Dinorwic as the crow flies, like over the sandy bits
DM has diagnosed the trim problem he reckons
He's quite handy sometimes but a bit hard to understand, doesn't talk proper like what I do innit
Good day
Good fun
Good to meet everyone
Cheers
K

Cheers kawatwati! great day, got some pics to post when I get home. Cardinal Paul sounds about right! 30mph at 9am 36mph at 5pm, the weed slowly came off but not exactly the 52mph at start of season

Fantastic day, cookie kw chrisc DaveG and us went right up river then a pub crawl home, conwy, beaumaris and gazelle, well cardinal pauls crew did anyway! Even cookie joined the ale at beaumaris!!!!

We've just left gazelle after some glenffiddich! Zzzzzz

Have to say, it is so good to travel in company, great peace of mind if the engine splutters, but also great company!

As for chris caton! Hooligan!

Another great day out on the water. Apologies for us being late as usual! and missing the return leg (Ice creams in Beaumaris would have been good).

Our family guests managed to get lost in Conway, so much so they couldn't seem to find the harbour..... latest must run in the family.

Finally got them all out and then got the skis wet, had a good run from Conway right across to Puffin, which was a first for me, but dam knackering.

We can all do some Skiing on the run back from Ireland next year.

those who made it had a brilliant day

jayne & me met up with phil & gill at ty calch, chris sorted his usual speedy launch and we left at 11:00 for a good run through the straits to meet up with paul & crew (sorry, old age again, can't remember paul's mate's name), and kawasaki & dm.

poor rocknrolla dean was out of action, a bad back has got him reaching for old mans slippers and a pipe by the fire but i'm sure he'll back on his feet soon, even if he's got them slippers on

and then we had a good run back to puffin island, were some of stopped to look for the puffins while others had the taste for a beer a beaumaris

after a beer and icecremes we made our way back, paul & crew (apologies) came down to menai bridge with us the headed back to the gazelle, phil & gill, jayne & me headed back to ty calch. not a bad day, plenty of sunshine & fresh air, beer, chips & icecreme, and 3 norman castles in a day, brilliant

we can't make this weekend, but will be back every weekend till end of oct if anyone wants a day out, doubt if we'll be so lucky with the weather again, but that's what drysuits are for
