Oct 1st, Menai Straits to Conwy Castle and upriver

I'm out come rain or shine on Oct 1st, Sat. After 5 months of exams, finally done them all!

... and got a pass out from the better half for passing!

England game at 8.30, then thinking of heading across to Conwy about 10.30am and up the river, setting off from from Menai Bridge. Its high tide just after lunch and its a big 7m one. If not that journey, I'll head around Moelfre way, or the other way up to play on Caernarvon bar and beyond.

With a beverages on the way back at Caernarvon, Port Dinorwic, Menai, Gazelle, Gazelle, Gazelle.....

Anyone about?

Hi Paul, sounds good to me, we could do with a blast ourselves to blow the cobwebs away!
Cheers, Chris.

Hi all, high tide I believe is 14.10 in Conway on sat, so I'm heading off by 12.00 from Gazelle. I'll be around for a bit before at the jetty I imagine after a bit of Rugby!!

Weather looking ok. Will hopefully get a beer in conway somewhere and have a pootle up the river to have a look about, then head back and open to what happens then.

Weather dependant really. Be good to sit and chat at Beaumaris, Gazelle or back up past bridges if weather decent.
