Old Harry & Lulworth(?) Cruise
Some of you have expressed an interest in a midweek cruise so thought we'd start the ball rolling with a suggested date of Wednesday 11th August. How does that sound Andre, Mike C, Phil, Bruce and anyone else who might fancy it?

That suits me, (weather permitting of course) My wife, Sheila and I are off from the 2nd to the 11th August with the time put aside especially for boating in good weather, so anything the previous week would be OK too!

Mike we can discuss this during the weekend of 7/8 August

Good news, Mike & Andre. Sorry you can't make this one, Phil. It just means we'll have to organise another one for later on!
If anyone else is interested please post here or get in touch. Nearer the time we can arrange meeting points, comms, etc.
Looking forward to it and seeing you again.

Good news Paul, Sue & Tim, Pete7 and the 'Phantom RIBster'!!
So that's 2 cruises to organise. As I said before, I'll post more details nearer the time for the Wed 11th Aug cruise.
Those who want to do the second cruise - anyone want to post a provisional date? Midweek again or weekend?

Meeting at Old Harry would be fine - not sure of timings yet - will work out nearer the time and post. Where will you be coming from?

Hi Neal,
Glad to hear your boat is sorted and looking forward to seeing you on the water.
It looks like there are going to be two cruises to that part of the world - one on Wed 11th Aug and another at a slightly later date for those who miss the first. No-one has suggested a date for the second one yet - care to put one forward?
Hope to see you soon.

Hi Louise,
Would like to join you on your jolly to Lulworth.
I'd launch from Lymington, simply 'cause I know how to get there with the car and trailer

Brilliant - this is shaping up to be a good cruise with around 9 boats (if no-one has to drop out!) so far.
Welcome to the forum Rosie & Iain. Looking forward to seeing you.
It'll be great to see you again, Martin, too. And we haven't forgotten that we owe you a drink for those Boat Show tickets.
Some of you have already PMed me regarding contact details. If anyone is going to be away from their computers in the week before the cruise (say from 4th Aug) please PM me a 'phone number so I can get in touch.
Provisional Departure Details
Meet in vicinity of Yacht Club Starting Platform, Lymington, (at the entrance to Lymington River - a hut on stilts- adjacent to no. 1 starboard channel marker) and be ready to leave at 10.30. Comms on Ch 77.
Andre & Mike C - tides are favourable for you that day. But if you (or anyone else) would prefer a different meeting time please post or PM me.
Looking forward to seeing you all!
