Our RIB 'Razorbill' (Red sponsons) will be working in the Haven Weds onwards..... I should be there too... will wave if we see you, but we have tight programmes for work
ps we have dispensation to be working in some of the areas you may see us in, they are exclusion zones for others (unless you have blue lights and guns )

Yep that could be ok on a rising tide ! I've almost got caught out there before . ( One too many pints on a falling one )
It does indeed look as though Castlemartin will be firing away during our short stay so no souvenier shopping for the missus in Tenby

Thats not rough Steve, thats just tickling the surface, but yes it was great to get out, I was hoping to accompany on my rib, but it was actually much more enjoyable with experienced company on La Bamba, Thats one very well equiped rib, and very comfortable seating too.

Paul ( Dragonhawkficht ) , Pleasure to meet you too today . Thank you for your knowledgable commentary around the Isles .
Kerny , generally speaking it wasn't too bad out there , just the usual overfalls & rips you might expect in that part of the world .
We did have a little excitement on Monday afternoon when we overheard one of the large Irish ferries talking to a disabled yacht off Skomer . His mainsail was damaged and his small outboard was not up to the overfalls and the wallowing had upset most of his crew . The lifeboat was already on the way from Angle so we stood by , then transferred two RNLI chappies onto the yacht , and two of the crew members back to the lifeboat . Nothing too dramatic , but it's nice to be able to assist , 'cos none of can be sure that we won't need that help one day .
The gannets on Grassholme were spectacular as ever . Hopefully a few pictures to follow when my scurvy crew get their fingers out .

Your welcome Bern, just a shame there wasn't more wildlife still around to comment on, but still great to see the seal pups and rock features, plus it was great to meet you and Rob, and be a passenger myself for a change, thanks again for the invites I definatly owe you a few beers!

Dan . probably a tad later than that 'cause Paul was s'posed to back by midday , and I know we were late and he was in trouble with the Missus .
Yep unless we do have a sustained Indian Summer , I reckon both me and the rib will be going into hibernation any time now.........

Not at all Bern, I'm lucky I guess, our home is only 200yrds up the road from the marina, and there's shops down there, so I had no complaints , infact Louise asked me to pass on her regards, and thought your rib looked very smart, compared to mine, "yes! yes! don't rub it in" I replied... but I certainly agree. It was an absolute pleasure to dance across the water aboard La Bamba , I really must look into getting some of those foot straps and I'm seriously considering loosing my bottle rack for some of those jocky style seats, Its hard to feel comfortable as a passenger on my rib, as there's only the dive rack to hold on to, different for the helm of course, but not as well sheltered there either, it was great to experience a user friendly rib compared to my dive rib.
All the best
Paul.
