Spoken with a very nice lady at the harbour master's office.
No worries with dropping onto the visitors berths whilst we pick up a pasty and a cup of the wet stuff....

Thanks for that Andy......even more importantly, can you have a nice word with the pasty mine and ensure there will not be a shortage of pasties this year.....I couldn't live down 2 pasty runs without achieving the aim of having a pasty in Looe.
Maybe as a fallback I'll have to load up with some finest Dartmouth pasties before setting out - although I might risk having the boat boarded by Cornish Customes
Maybe Mr TurboDiesel can ensure he has access to the town's strategic reserve
Looking forward to the run.

Knowing we're going to go East Looe this time all will be well. There's a whole shop full of them to chose from

Took Mrs turboD out for her first ride on the Delta yesterday, we have owned it for two years first time she's been on it! Happy days! She's still in rehab but coming home at weekends so if it's good weather I shall bring her along for the ride!

Great to hear Mrs. TurboD's recovering and getting afloat
Just hope I can get the hydraulic steering leak and engine problem fixed this week so we're able to make the run with confidence

Aquahound's up and running well again did 25Nm today - aiming for Salcombe but visibility was awful - couldn't see any land and they had to turn on Start Point Lighthouse at midday. Discretion deemed to be better part of valour, as we could see the fog rolling towards us!
Anyway, I've had a quick count & I think the pasty mine will need to be busy on Friday - I make so far:
Treerat in Nutkin
Mr Sparks in Boyblue
Mr Austin in 2XS
Gaz101 in Just4play
Lanberman in Standstorm
Turbodiesel meeting in Looe?
Me +3 in Aquahound.
I'm aiming to launch from Mountbatten - easy,£5.00 slip fee & parking and use of facilities.
Praying for decent weather!
LT

Looking forward to it. What time are you launching at Mt Batten as Treerat has mentioned going to Fort Bovisand dive centre for a cuppa before we meet at the breakwater fort

Depends on how early I can motivate the crew! Probably launch 1100-1130 maybe time for a pre cuppa or just a blast in the sound.

Always time for a pre hop cuppa - and Bovi makes that really easy.
Last chance for a wee too

There is a cafe in the dive shop on the harbor wall. Mooring is tie up to the wall but not in the way of the dive boats.
Other cafe is down at the yacht Haven which is also great, especially if launching at Oreston or Mountbatten.
