Makes a change. Pretty grim here this morning. Calm but dull.

I think he might be glad of the AIS, the Channel is rather busy this morning!

Back on my berth safe & sound at 11.15 this morning, had a fantastic couple of days seeing lots of this south coast I keep hearing about, very interesting

Many thanks from both of us to Mart & Mel, David & Ginny & Tim for all your hospitality, it makes all the difference!

Between thursday afternoon and this morning we managed to cover 313nm using a not inconsiderate 859 litres of unleaded average 2.74 l/nm generally at 30-32 kts

pics and vids to follow

Great to see you Matt
Think we should have haggled harder with the Dutch guy over the fags.
Would have helped pay for all that fuel bet he ran out by Dover though.

Be good to see some of the other CI ribnetters over here next year maybe
you could come to us and we could lay on a ribnet cruise along the South Coast might get more takers.
Cheers
Tim
ps the Artic is still for sale .

Good to see Matt and Nel at the weekend and glad to see that they returned safely. I'm only sorry that our own somewhat unusually hectic plans for the weekend meant that time together was somewhat curtailed. I look forward to the next meeting, however, whether here or over there.
David
