Poole-Yarmouth Sunday 17 November
With the forecast looking good (if a little chilly) Trimix and I are planning to head over to Yarmouth from Poole for lunch on Sunday. Trimix will be launching at Cobbs Quay shortly after 10.00 am and I plan to motor up there to RV with him around 10.30 am. We'll then head over to Yarmouth for lunch in the Wheatsheaf around midday (it has to be early since the tides require me to be back in the marina by 3.00 pm).
Anybody wanting to join us for the cruise or meet us in the pub is more than welcome. VHF Ch 08.
David

Wish I could David, but unfortunately I cannot due to being a few thousand miles away.
Have a good one

Definitely interested, will need to find/ borrow a prop as I had a little "incident" last week! Mine is looking a little sorry for itself and needs some work!(complete re-furb).

I'll have to see what crew thinks when he arrives from the north...he's having a dress fitted or something today.......

Good news, prop sourced and fitted! (Thanks for the loan Yellow Penguin).
David I'll probably meet you as you come back from Cobbs. Will that be about 10:45 ish at the mouth of the harbour?

I'm wanting to know why AJ was trying on a dress but I'm happy to wait till tomorrow so that he doesn't have to paste it on a public forum!
I'm dying to hear what happened to OscarGuitar's prop - but, again, it may not be appropriate to a public forum.
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow. RV off Parkstone Bay Marina at either 10.00 or 10.45 (for outward or return trip to Cobbs Quay).

Ha ha not me the future Mrs AJ (lucky girl!) was having her wedding dress fitting! The house has been full of women all day. I am in urgent need of a blokes day talking about beer, petrol and anything with an engine before I start monthly cycle syncing!!

's funny, when you wish for it, it's not quite the same as when you get it.

Sorry we had to rush off without any proper good-byes but time was getting tight for the tide: we lightly dinged the prop on the final approach as it was!
Great day out, however, and very nice to meet new faces on their first outing and to have JumpingJack and OscarGuitar aboard as well as meet the other usual suspects!

Greta pics guys, shame I was otherwise engaged!
Oscar;- I'm sure Paul at YP has already recommended Propellor Solutions for your prop.
I had both ours done and he was first rate, local too
Regards
steve
