Portsmouth - Poole (Wareham)

Hello there, I have been wanting to do this passage for a while now, Portsmouth - Poole (Wareham).

I am Hoping to get a couple of sub 5m ribs together to make a day of it and stop off at The Old Granary for late lunch.
From Portsmouth Harbour entrance to the town centre of Wareham the journey is around 64NM each way so quite a trek and milage to do it one day.

If anyone is interested (Sub 5m or bigger ribs) in doing this in Mid June, it would be great.

Hi arb.

Unfortunately family commitments mean I can't make this one. I was also wondering where to store that ammount of fuel..!!

Maybe next time.

James.
That's unfortunate, fuel is a tricky issue. My boat has no under deck tank, so will have around 120l strapped to the deck in various configurations..... Should be interesting with weight distribution.

Launching at 9:30am on Saturday 22nd June from Camber slip in Portsmouth.

I'll be interested in the amount of fuel/time it takes you.

Hope the weather picks up for you.

James.
