Hi Ian, I'm still using the Drift X170, however I have now updated the software inside the camera to the latest version which has fixed a few annoying bugs. The camera now films in widescreen as it should and the adjustment to light changes is a lot smoother.
Have you got your camera yet?

Alex, yes. Yet to try it on the boat yet, some confusion over the instruction manual which is not as thorough as it might be, and it does seem very susceptible to camera shake when hand held. I was hoping to use it as an occassional camcorder, but not sure that is practicable. Still, early days yet.

Thanks Alex. I think I have got my brain around the basic aspects that the video shows, the Users Forum may prove useful, although you know what these forums are like

Santa bought me a BulletHD Wide dogcam which films in 720i but i have yet to try it out in natural light. At home using artifical light it was not too impressive if I'm honest but i expect it to be a lot better outside. I'm told the BBC use them for Ski Sunday so it should be OK and it is tiny.
Hopfully I will get to use it for the Nachos run if my son doesn't lose it on his skiing trip this week!

Keep up? Whisper was sent ahead of the field, as I was 5 mins late! We never did really catch up (fuel conservation, obviously)
