I'm still up for this.

However, Mrs Nasher and Little Nasher are away with school, and Middle Nasher is paintballing on the Saturday, so I think we'll be out Sunday morning, possibly with a couple of Middle Nashers friends as crew.

Nasher.

Tough luck Pete!
I'm hoping to make this one with just Katie on board - If she kips with your kids I'll have a cabin for just me ........ Pam'll never find out!

We'll be starting from MDL Saxon Wharf, Southampton and should have spare room on board & can hopefully link-up with Mark241 and anyone else that wants a ride.

Makes sense to me-or you could meet up with us at Calshot.

So will people actually be picniccing (sp?) on Sunday? Or just nursing hangovers and packing up?

Might pop over with the kids on Sunday if the weather holds, but slightly concerned about the sights that might await us!

Last tim we were just spitting sand out and packing up on Sunday. However, we probably won't be leaving the beach 'til noonish.

Ah, 8am might be a problem. I think they open at 9. They do a particularly good breakfast though, even though for some odd reason they won't do fried eggs-only scrambled.

Sounds like a plan
Bear in mind the tide times for Bembridge mean we'll probably be eating from a disposable BBQ or a camping stove that evening as it'll be around 8pm when we can get into the harbour-see here for times.

I'll be bringing the Redcrest so getting stuff ashore won't be an issue.

you need to anchor out a bit in Priory Bay if memeory serves correctly, but it depends on tide state I guess. I used a little dinghy or swam last time
