Yes. It's actually steep enough and soft enough at Bembridge you can run the bow into the sand and step onto dry land then reverse off with no issues. However, we'll probably have to leave the boats out a few yards so they are afloat most of the night as we'll be going in on a rising tide.
It'll either be that or not being afloat 'til 11am.
Oh, and what Neil said about Priory Bay too.

I've enough petrol (now!) to get to St Vaast and back to Poole. The problem was that having done that I didn't (quite) have enough to then get to Yarmouth again.
500m makes all the difference when you're in a boat. Thanks again to Hilda Maud.

If the weather turns out to be as good as it looks, the family are getting interested in the picnic. The only problem is that, from recollection, there are no toilets close by so the girls are not so sure. Anyone know if there are any within walking distance that can be used?

There's loos in Bembridge at the junction of Embankment road and Station road-about 50 yards from the harbour.

Cheers Nos , the plan is getting clearer. I'm wondering if I can 'borrow' the Shearwater pontoon..........
Just one minor point - which bay is Priory bay though ?( Lat & long & I can look it up ....)

Will there be anyone else turning up on Sunday then?
Apart from us and possibly JK.
And I’m presuming if you’re still there it will be Bembridge Beach rather than Priory Bay?
It’s a real bugger we can’t do Saturday as I’ve been looking forward to it, but with Mrs Nasher and Little Nasher away, and Middle Nasher at a Paintball party on Saturday it’s the usual case of fitting in around the kids active social lifes
I am planning on bringing the Smaller Nashers SIB as well, so Middle Nasher and his Mate can tear around in that off the beach.
Anyone fancy SIB racing?
We’ll be launching from the Camber if anyone wants to run over with us.
Nasher.

We'll have our sib as well so I'm sure Katie will give the little Nashers a run for their money! - and she'll do water taxi runs at a very reasonable rate (like a pat on the head!).

So just to be sure.
If we rock up on Sunday morning, proably before 10am, then theres a good chance some peeps will still be on Bembridge beach to say hello to?
Getting more Pi**ed as the hours go by that we can't do Saturday
Nasher.
