Sundry trip to Arklow
Work means I can't make it over on Saturday, but will be there on Sunday to get to Arklow.
So as not to slow things down is there any plan for pairing similar boats up before our early start.
Alternatively is anyone thinking about going from the Anglesey side, (Chris's slip at Caernarfon).
Thanks
David

Arklow Visit
Hi All,
I have spoken with Arklow Sailing Club and the Commodore Paul Barrett would like to welcome rib crews and offer the facilities of the club to those taking part in the rib run. The bar will be open and tea and coffee will be available.
Bridgewater Shopping Centre recently opened on the north quay and has O'Briens Sandwich Bar, Eddie Rockets fast food outlet and a Food Court etc.
I will be on the quay with some club members who can help with refuelling.
Eugene

Sounds good Eugene - Thanks!!!
Are there any small RIBs going out on Saturday, (I'm 3.5m with 25hp)?
I'm joining David Griffiths on Sunday but don't want to be stuck ashore on Saturday. Having said that, I don't want to hold anyone back by being too slow, and definately wouldn't make it anywhere near New Quay anyway.

Jono,
As Andy mentioned to me, did you need your passport when you went over last?

Cheers!
Thanks to all for a cracking weekend (No pun intended, Anglesey Dave!).
It was great to meet you all.
Thanks especially to Ian and to David Griffiths for the ride.

Nice to see everyone who turned out Saturday/Sunday.
I've put some pics in the RIB Gallery.
Thanks to Jono for organising. Thanks to Dave for the ride!
Bet everyone slept well Sunday Night, I went out like a light.

Hi all,
It was good to meet with you on Sunday. You had great weather for the trip as seen on the video links. Watching the ribs leave the harbour I was tempted to cast off and follow.
It seems Jono wanted another look at the wind turbines on his way back.
Glad that I could help out shoreside.
Arklow Sailing Club is a small informal club that encourages all water activities and welcomes visitors. Visit www.arklowsc.com
Now that you know the way over don't hesitate to visit again.
Cheers
Eugene

How to give a girl a good time
Take her away for a long weekend, ridin horse for about 300miles in sunshine(well apart from the fog) with 14 guys for company, what more can a girl wish for!!!
We had a great time, absolutely shattered at end of it though !!
Thanks to Jono for having the idea and putting on the BBQ and thanks to Ian for the ride on Sunday.
Hope to see you all again soon
Gill and Phil (Cookie)

I'm guessing that would be about 200-220 litres then?

Fuel
Probably just under 200 litres.
Will know for sure when I fill it back up (which I should have done in Ireland!)
