Cool
Parking is no Problem. We will be able to park on camera outside my office/classroom or in a locked compound next door.
Slipway is all state of tide and suitable for all boats trailable.

I take it we are still on for some outing on Saturday. Llynhome has at last been hauled off for repairs and is promised back Friday!
Maybe some of those who planned to go to France this weekend could join us! The weather for the Bay looks pretty good for Saturday, not so good Sunday.
Cheers

Rib Trip
Hi Jono, just logged onto the forum for the first time. I have a Yachtline 420 with a 40 on the tail. This weekend is my last outing before exchanging her for a Medline 1 on Tuesday. I'm off the dreaded Warren ! Will I be able to keep up, what are you in ?
If the offer to join you still stands I'd like to tag along. Unfortunately I've not ventured much further then the Islands (of course) and the Marina however, I'm fully kitted out with VHF, Nav Lights, Flares etc etc and as long as I can follow you're wake and you know where you're going, it sounds like fun !
I look forward to hearing from you.
Graeme.

Some superb 'Synchronised vertical ribing' was enjoyed (thoroughly) by both Avon's on Saturday!

No camera to hand, and no hands available to take piccies if we had.
Wind over tide on Porthmadog Bar gave some great waves, and also gave great views of the underside of Jahno's Avon as he launched it vertically over them.
On the way out, side by side, we hit a monster sending both ribs vertical. I think the look on Jahno's face was mirrored by that on mine.
Great fun and definatley taking a camera next time the same conditions occur!!!
You'll have to come up North and meet us, then our posts on the forum may be easier to understand! lol.
August 23/24 at Conwy is the next NWR meet & cruise which gives you the Bank Holiday Monday morning to drive home!
Let me know if you can make it, circumnavigate Anglesey on Saturday and a more relaxed day on Sunday, but still out on the water.

Great stuff, Ian.
Yes, I'd love to come up, 'specially to go round Anglesey. I'll have to look at the diary, a bit packed, but any inkling of a space and I'll be up that M6 like a ferret up david manning's leg

NOT a pleasant thought, but your getting the hang of NWR phrases. If you can, get to the meet I mean not up DM's leg, let me know as we can sort parking for vehicle and trailer for you. Also advise if you'll need Hotel, B&B or camping.
Cheers

Ian, if you plan on taking work's digital camera again, wouldn't it be wise to invest in some waterproof container of some sort? You looked a bit panicked when you realised how much water the bag it was in was sitting in when we got to Conwy last time. If you're planning on using it in even worse conditions, protection is in order!
Good to hear you've had a good time this weekend, whilst I've been stuck here in Oldham.

Only caught some spray this time, no soaking for Llynhome.
Kids mates down this weekend so no room in the car otherwise you'd have got a call.

No worries, been a great weekend here actually (apart from the crap weather). Manage to con some new clothes, new dvd player, and some booze out of the parents. God knows how I managed that. Probably as I'm not going to uni and they are therefore extremely grateful of the lack of more financial problems!
