Good point, I was thinking of Friday
Whether in Salcombe horbour or not I expect we'll still be all at sea

If we are looking for off-water activities, there is love music on Friday evening at Royal William Yard: 17:30 - 20:00 Indie funk live sessions with Andy Quick (no idea if its any good!)

That could be good, can we see the stage from the harbour or is it in the old parade ground?
Going to need to pack that sun cream, going to need it!!
Watching the wind for Monday in case we need to invoke plan B but all looks good so far 🙂

Ah cool!
Saw you on the water yesterday, but was in wind-assisted mode so didn't give you a shout on the radio so as not to being shame to the powerboating community

Off Penlee Point, you (or a RIB with the same name) was cruising at modest pace inbound. Guess it was mid-afternoon

For those not familiar with Plymouth Sound, here is a guide for small craft
Can't find an updated one, but there is now a no-anchor zone in the East (southern part of Jennycliff Bay) to protect a seagrass replanting program
Speed limit exemption areas are probably of most interest

Andy,
What's your ETA at Eddystone on Friday -1145-1200? - remember head slightly right from the Western (righthandwhen heading out) end of the breakwater
Need to calculate the passage plan from Brixham on that.

We're due to leave at 11.00 and with a 14 mile journey your timings will be about right, F3 ENE so should be a nice lazy swell with a steady run time rather then dead flat and dead flat out

mmmm, forecast I'm seeing is F4 Easterly, increasing 4-5 on Sat.
Will plan c.1145 at Eddystone. Will have appetite for a pasty after the 2.5 hour run from Brixham. Will give you a call later in the week.

Hi Guys - I'm hoping to join you with Baby Blue - current plan is to arrive Thursday afternoon (or maybe early evening), launch at Mountbatten and keep Baby Blue at QAB, staying in the van in their carpark.
Looking forward to it.

Not sure on the channel we used last time just avoid channel 9 because local dive boats use it for their chat either side of Plymouth Sound
It’s millpond flat in Whitsand Bay at the moment

I use Richmond Walk Slipway as my default, its great any time other than low springs (few slipways arent)
As ever when hoping to join these trips my boat is out of the water having the 6 monthly service, specifically booked in for last week so it would be done for this weekend but of course it has over run. Hopefully launching tomorrow at Mountbatten public slipway
Do we have a vague plan for Friday evening at all?

I got as far as watching the band, or seeing what the barbican has on offer before eating at spoons, cider bar or fish and chips.
No other plans set, but happy to follow a real local.
