According to the Red Arrows web site they will be at the Fowey regatta on Thursday 23 August. I'm planning to be at Chateau Kernow Buoy with the kids that week, so we'll almost certainly take the SIB down to Fowey for the day.
Anyone else likely to be around? Meet up for pub lunch, barbecue or something?

The RAs are not booked for Fal Week this year. I might spin on up for that one. Fowey week is a goodun'. Was nothing other than Stalag Kernow Joy Boi available?

Read it again, Mini is a Thai bird that he get's in at weekends. You don't wanna know what she does with ping pong balls on a table.

I'm normally down Fowey for a couple of weeks during the summer, might come down during Regatta... Its always a brilliant week but it does get seriously busy!

Well we're all set to head west on Sunday for a bit of that special Cornish sunshine
Where's the best place to watch the Arrows from a SIB?

I've found a good forecast and printed it off, so that should be OK. I hear they had some heavy dew at Chateau Kernow Buoy today, but I've made it clear that I expect it to be cleared up by Sunday.

IF you can get there without being run down,as close to the middle of the harbour as possible. Given how many boats are there though, probably tied up to whichever empty buoy you can find that's away from the madding crowd.
The display the Red Arrows put on is amazing there.
