I was going to try and have the day off to go up there! Sounds like its a good job I was working my Zodiac would of not liked those conditions. Plus with that mighty tide not fun!

Nothing to do with Fowey, but saw the Red Arrows at Weymouth this week and was at anchor near the harbour mouth during the display and was under the main flying track - 7 planes climbing vertically above your head - very impressive! Good show albeit by the Brylcream Boys!

The Arrows were surreal. Like an eclipse.
Total silence.........even the engines "sounded" silent.
As John said, when an outboard started up you felt like saying "shshshshshs".
Very cool.

This was a few hours earlier, Lantic Bay. we spotted a few sunfish bathing.
Huge jelly fish too.
