No. Rathlin has a terrible reputation for presenting itself were you least expect it. As a Hazard to Navigation, it's trumped only by the Channel Islands...

Don't worry Bigman even those of us who are but a stone's throw away across the Sound don't get an invite!! It is called REDBAY snobberryyyyyy. Anyway I would rather drink Isle of Jura.
But all that aside I do hope they have a good day.

Thanks Jambo, I'll try make sure that we head back for Redbay and not divert "by accident" direct to Donegal. You do know how these things happen "by accident" :-)
See you on the water soon.

And to whom and where should I send the Invite, Mr. Anonymous?
Anyways, I hear you have plenty of cash, it's just there isn't a big enough corkscrew made that could extract your wallet far enough.....

Green Light
Right - that's it, the Test Monkeys are a Go. Me on Helm (for the good bits anyway), donegaldan on Nav & Comms, Tonymac riding shotgun (OO load pls, Tony), Mystery Guest TBA. God help us and all who sail with us.
Details from Redbay today:
Redbay Boats will be running their annual trip to Islay for a tour of the Ardbeg Whiskey Distillery on Saturday the 3rd September.
The plan is to have a briefing at Redbay at 10am, then depart for Ardbeg at 10:30,
Lunch in Ardbeg will be at 12:30, then we plan to depart Ardbeg and head for Rathlin at 15:30,
Depart Rathlin at 17:30, arriving back in Redbay at 18:00
I notice that they neglected to mention the feed of pints that will be had in Cushendall after
Off now to Sacrifice something small and furry to the Weather Gods
