If people are meeting for a beer this weekend would you mind if I invited myself along? Mrs GJ0KYZ has more or less given me permission to go to Paris :-)

I used a well-known female strategy to get my own way: endless nagging.

You have been busy. That's a useful bit of info with the speed limits marked.

Wonder how GJ's getting on with his PB2. Bet he'll have had enough of fresh air by the time he's finished. Not exactly the lightest of winds for mucking about in today.

'You can leave your hat on' as the song says
I've updated my webpage with half an itinerary, then it goes in to shorthand gobbledegook to be finished another time
I'm planning a couple of long days on the way back

Nonetheless, in expectation and with an ICC and all the other paper work already to hand I've programmed ATIS into my radio, have ordered the CEVNI handbook (due to arrive tomorrow) with the hope of getting the exam and CEVNI endorsement; so even if I can't come with you in April ( ), I will at least be able to do it another time.

On the subject of capital cities, for anyone that's interested...
It's approx 290nm from Jersey to Westminster, a fraction less than Paris believe it or not
Just thought I'd throw that out there...

We could go there on the way back. Changing the subject, has anyone given anymore thought to how they're going to store stuff onboard? I'm leaning towards a lockable plastic storage box like this one: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-8607.aspx
It's not 100% secure of course, but anyone who's determined to thieve from the boats will just take the whole box regardless of what type it is. Any thoughts anyone?
By the way, has anyone read on the "Going inSeine" article that quayside petrol is only available at Le Havre and Port d'Ilon? Everywhere else is by portage.
