Ribex 2006
So who’s going? On which days? There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of RIBnet organisation this year?
Friday
Is anything happening?
If not does anyone fancy a BBQ on the beach in the evening if the weathers good or food and drinks at the Folly if the weathers not too good? Will those at work be tempted to join us after work?
Saturday
Any plans for a round IOW?
Who’s going to the Indian in the evening? Tim, has anywhere been booked/notified etc?
Sunday
Bruce, Cookee, Kitten & co are gathering at the Fountain after the show and then moving onto the Union Inn.

We might be tempted to cruise up to the Folly after work on Friday - I'm sure we could give a couple of people a lift!

Ill be going round the isle of white on the saturday or sunday and going to the show the other day.
Im leaving deciding which day to do which to the weather.
Ill also be there most of the day monday - possibly wakeboarding etc.

My plan is similar to Roycruse's, but leaving on Sunday, to get back for work on Monday. Would be nice to do a lap of the Island in company, if anyone fancies it.

There seems to be talk of beach BBQs on several threads - Just to make sure we don't all end up having completely separate BBQs in separate locations. Can someone local take the reigns and pick a location, day and time.
Current long range predictions are light northerlies - light cloud and dry (but this prediction could change).
Tides are low (about 1m) between 5pm and 7pm as the weekend progresses.
I reckon if we all turn up mid afternoon at priory bay we can all beach our boats and have the BBQ over low tide on the Friday or the Saturday.

BHG have been the main ones for the last couple of years that I've been, though I am sure Pacer marine and the likes will have someone there.

We'll be there on Friday & Saturday doing demos again. If the weather holds we could be on for a dash to Cherbourg for dinner on Saturday evening, then cheap hotel (or kip on the boat) & back to IOW for Sunday morning. Bring your passport if you fancy a fast trip to & from the land of decent food
Cheers
Ian
