If anyone is looking for some (cheap) accomodation, my mother runs a Bed and Breakfast in a restored Victorian railway station. We've got loads of space to park RIBs outside, and it's very central for the Broads (5 minute drive to the nearest slipway). PM me if interested.....

We would absolutely love to join, but have a couple of difficulties:
(i) we can't get away from work on Friday
(ii) we're in Surrey, boat is stored on the south coast and logistics of getting it out Saturday morning (how early ?!), towing up to the Broads in time and then taking back on Sunday need further thought ...

... or we could just drive up and join you in the pub !

A word of warning....there are two routes to the Waveney River Centre, be sure to follow the signposted one. The lanes round there are very tight with a lot of blind bends. Oh yes, and my folks live in Burgh St Peter so I'll warn them the nautical equivalent of the Hells Angels are in town!

Coot Club or the Big Six would be more appropriate to the Norfolk Broads.
Jackeens as the Hullabaloo's!

Some local goodies stuffies are now starting to pyle up getting excited to be packed in suitcase/s promise though no rotten sharkies, dry fishies, marinated/rotten ram testacl....es what to name some more of our fabolous delicatassen.

Air ticket sorted out same goes for the rent a car.

Even had serious thought of bringing my own boat over and engine my luggage allowance permits it anyway (yeah flying business class) I would be like shephard last in the convoy..........

Lets bring this thread live and look forward meeting you all both those of you I already know and you the news I say HEY to start with here as I am confident we will have great fun.

Bogi
