Apologies for late commitment, but we will be there on "Ottilia".
Cycled around Island on Friday, much rather do it on a Rib!

Hopefully we get the above forecast however the current weather systems are so changeable until nearer the time it's anyone's guess, bloody jet-stream lol

Either way a great day

It's stating on Facebook that the meeting point is sandown bay , prior to that some boats are congregating at Calshot for 11am and then heading east

Gents,
Apologies now unable to make it, had a disastrous day.
Been so looking forward to this weekend.
Got on the rib, batteries dead as a Dodo; no problem used a power pack.
So took her out to "charge" the batteries, what happens, hit something in the water damaged propeller and snapped the Skeg!!!!!
Rib now "out of service", totally gutted, only second time out this year and was so looking forward to tomorrow and the Americas Cup the following week.

Good luck to all tomorrow - have a great day & raise loads of money.

Real shame to be missing it this year through
a) no boat (but watch this space)
b) work

Trust the Yarmouth Harbour Master & Wheatsheaf have been briefed to expect a load of thirsty Ribnetters

We'll hopefully be joining the run straight on the back of our Round Denmark trip. I'll probably be running at the end of the pack and happy to act as sweeper. We can be tracked on AIS. Black Adder. Mmsi 235063359. We'll be monitoring VHF08 unless any other channel has been mentioned (posting this from my mobile in Eastbourne so haven't checked the whole thread for VHF yet.)

Nick - really sorry to hear of your problem, and my very best wishes for a speedy recovery. Was looking forward to having the two RC585s out together again. Hope you can get out later in the week, and hope to meet up with you again on another trip. Maybe B2P 2017?
