Gary I take it you will not be attending the fireworks, and possible light beverage on the saturday night?
Heard you have a wedding to go to with lesley.
Can picture saturday morning Reidy walking down to the marina A frame in hand wanting it put on before we leave!!
Is Tony taking his plastic chariot this weekend?

I am hoping to get the A Frame on tomorrow, or I may just wait till saturday to get a few helping hands to lift the wee beast onto the pontoon.
What time is the Fireworks usually at ?? and yeh a beverage, but not for McGloin if he's at the Helm of the Plastic Chariot

Unfortunately I do have a wedding to go to on the Sat night, not even anyone I know.... isn't that always the case!
If were going out on Sat, would be good if we could get out as early as poss, make the most of the day! Altho I know that will prob turn out to be 2pm!
Fingers crossed the weather gets better the mora, if its like its been today, think a will just do a few extra hours OT instead!

well yeh weather was fantastic, took my wee beast out over just off Dunoon, then headed back in to the Kip.
Then headed out with Craig, totally awsome on that beast. Had a few jumps on the way over to Dunoon and up the Clyde to the Docks but the way back into to the marina was unreal, I had the hot seat at the front which has now gave me a stiff neck and back, dont know how many times the boat was out the water, but the Clyde was rough to say the least
Cheers Craig !!
No photos or video tho as planned as if I had have tried I would have been over the side into the unforgiving soup

Weather definately seemed to calm down a good bit at night... not that you would have noticed it being that ruff in a RIB your size Drew haha!
Was hoping to go out for a hour or so tonight, but the sea aint looking to pleasant, oh well might get out some time this week!

Well I am wanting to head out either tuesday or wednesday as I am away down to Derbyshire for a while on Thursday so that'll be me away from the RIB for a while.
Gary I'll give you or you give me a shout if u are wanting to head out after work.
Oh and that Liner is coming in for 8 am on wednesday so that means it will be heading up by the marina early doors if anyones fancys going out for that, or even when it leaves at 4pm from the container terminal.

Anybody need some 43mm OD 316L? Especially after the escapades mentioned earlier with A frames?
I haven't advertised it simply because the only place it can go would be Oban or Dunoon/Inverkip so not many folk will be interested

Any of you go out to see the wee coaster than ran up the INSIDE of the Gantock Rocks this morning and landed at the Rock Cafe on the Dunoon beach ?
Not sure what happened but heard from my mate that was on the trawler that the coastgaurd asked if they required the life boat out and the Capt. replied "no its fine we can just walk off onto the breakwater".
Nearly a new wreck Bruce, just beside the Akka.
Andy
P.s Watched the tugs pull it off the rocks today at HW...from my office

Hi Drew,
I will probably see you around 18-19th as we are heading down again. I bought a portable compressor to get fills this time though!
Will you get to Rathlin this weekend? weather isn't looking great for us at Cape Wrath!
Still hoping you will send me the position for that "other" wreck
Bruce

Dont know if we will get to Rathlin, been checking the weather daily in fact nearly hourly. If we dont make Rathlin I think we will just go to Islay for a wee cruise to recce it for a later trip.
Pm me your mobile and I will text the Fyne ones to you the next time I'm at the boat, we were also diving a wee naval pinnace just off dunoon last week to recover the fishing gear form the trawler, its about the size of the Westering Home and used to be used at Scapa as a Mortuary ship and sunk about 6 years ago, now lying in 36-46m.
