For those who are launching with Chris was thinking of getting to Ty Calch for 9 on Sat is that reasonable for the RV at 10?

Gut reaction. Is M5 M6 M56 A55 then you're almost there. Or M5 M6 M54 A5 is a beautiful drive through snowdonia. Not ideal with a big trailer though

I'd go with HP's first suggestion, the A5 ain't the place to be with a big trailer on a Friday afternoon / evening, it'll be full of caravans, and the A55 will be quicker anyway, well apart from the roadworks after Conwy tunnel

I'd go M5 M6 M54 then A5 all the way Oswestry -Llangollen-Betws-y-coed follow A5 to A55 then down to caernarfon that route is ok for towing i think its better than going all the way round bit of a nightmare on a Friday the M6

hmmmmmm.....well, to be honest I would say if you want ale then best have a few in the Black Buoy 1st, I just have the lager sh*te cos I cant taste it anyway a the moment. I think they have got a beer pump at the bar, but don't remember what it is an don't remember it working either. Guess as they probably sell gallons of the lager stuff then not worth bothering with proper ale. Chris Ty Calch is your best bet, he's on Fu's Christmas card list
anyway, Fu will be out drowning a few maggots trying t catch the fresh fish dish for Saturday night, I hope he has more luck than he normally does

the sooner you get past the better, it's a nightmare round the rush hour, you'd be OK on the A5 with your rib, down to Beddgelert and then onto Caernarfon, just take a chill pill oh, sorry, I forgot you don't have a proper tow motor do you, just one of the jap crap fingys

Steve, 2pm ish will be loads better than late afternoon-teatime ish. The earlier the better
Last week there was a contraflow in operation at Pennmamaw (spell). I was told it was a nightmare Friday afternoon with long delays.
I myself drove thru on Thursday evening 8pm ish and it was no trouble.
