Due to the insurance and qualifications this humber can not be auctioned off for the day , so there are 6 seats that will go on auction . so if there s anybody thats reading this forum that does not have a boat but would like to take part in this amazing experience and have the opportunity to take this Humber to full throttle , please get intouch

I may launch at Ty Calch actually as the boat is coming back out the water afterwards. I can go ahead and then film everyone coming through. I can grab it off you at Chris's
|
Will do . Have you got enough discs to transfer the film over to ?
They are cheap enough but I will get you some if need be.

Whoa there!
I'll film it, but i don't have a laptop to burn stuff, or a DVD player for that matter.
Re selling it, the best way will be to ask people to donate on Whispers just giving page, then email you a pic of the screen print out. Then you can send them the CD.
Cmon Kerny, as you said, i'll be a busy man anyway doing T Shirts, posting, filming et

I'm happy to find a good spot in the Swirlies between the bridges to take photos as everyone passes, I'll leave the Gopro on as well to get some film I like the sound of the drop box idea, if someone tells me how to do it I'm happy to sort that out as well. we can do the same for the return trip to Puffin Island from Conwy then catch those coming round the Island back over Caernarfon Bar, probably best as everyone goes through the gap between Abermenai Point and Fort Belan. if I can work out how to do it I'll post some pics of where we'll be so if you want some pics of your rib in action then make sure you pass us

Round Anglesey 2014 evening bash!
Been tasked by HP with finding a suitable venue for the evening do .
A hog roast was suggested but sadly a suitable venue that's local just can't be found. I was hoping one of the local watering holes might of been glad of 50 or 60 of us supping and in return allowed us to use a beer garden etc for the piggy, however as its Easter weekend, there all expecting trade to be generally quite brisk and were a bit frosty about the idea. Local farms: means a Marque, flooring, electrical supplies etc and as its April, likely to still be a bit cool, muddy under foot, probably not what you want after a day thrashing about on the water!.
Luckily the Celtic Royal Hotel has a function room available :. The Celtic royal is the Posh Hotel in Caernarfon, which means its only a stone throw from Premier inn / Travel lodge and all the various B+B's, its also handy for Cabs for those stopping a little further a field.
I've been down today to see the room that's available, its a screened off area adjacent to there main bar, the screens pull back allowing us to spill out after the feed (The main Ball room was booked, but at £600 a night, that's fine with me) We've got our room for £60!.
Food is either Hot Buffet at £16.50 a head, or cold at £11.95.
On the face of it the Hot buffet wins it for me, however there is only seating for about 30 in the actual room, (cant guarantee seating in bar area) so means a few might end up trying to scoff Slow braised beef standing??.
Where as we've all stood with a pint in one hand and a few buttys and sausage rolls rolling around on a paper plate in the other!
I've scanned the menus so have a look and give us some feedback, and it would be handy to know roughly how many are defo coming (pm me please).
Rooms are available at The Celtic,( About Us) approx. £80 per per person inc full English (Easter weekend...... )
Chris.
