It's flexible for all!!! The strait is very protected so to Caernarfon should be fine for all including 4m unless NE gale force, even then the 25 m strait is then doable.

If weathers awful the run to Caernarfon and back still great!

either way, east to Puffin Island or west to Pilot's Cove, if the weather is kind it will be great for all craft.

Spent some quality time with Chris and Jayne on a glorious day last summer out at Pilot's..........and was lucky enough to get up close and personal with the 'Revenger' after accepting Chris's kind offer.

Im hoping to have my caravan sited out there for the season from March 1st, so put me down for both cruise dates

we're forming our own breakaway group n going out as many weekends as we can this season, n as many holidays as possible, so if anyone wants to have a blast through the Straits but would like some company on their 1st run through just let us know, happy to point out the sharp rocky bits n all the good bits too

I have work in the way, most of the time, and limited by funds! Love cruising the straights. Next planned outing is this trip! But I can't wait that long!!

need to work to fund the ribs, but need to get out on the salty wet stuff as much as possible, it's been a long two years for us so a nice long relaxing season is on the cards The Straits and surrounding area are a great spot, there's always something to see n do, n you don't need to spend a fortune on fuel to do it either, I can't wait

That's so true! I've cruised the straights for many years, and it always amazes me that it has so much to do! My last trip was my first time pulling into Victoria Dock for some lunch and a beer at that chain pub place over looking the marina.

we only go there when the weather is crap, launching from Caernarfon we are always heading off somewhere else, but not a bad pint though

I normally start at Beaumaris - but it wasn't the best weather and the gazelle was closed. we had big tides, so had a run up the River Seiont (did have a panic that I wouldn't fit back under the bridge) then into Victoria Dock, then the brave nipped out the bottom for a quick blast in the rough stuff Is it wrong to be so excited about getting back out after the winter!

Steve...we also had a jaunt up the river seiont early last season, but came unstuck when we came across a very angry nesting swan. We beat a hasty retreat when the hissing bird came charging across the water towards us.
