Friday would be better for me, but let me know which suits you best

Cheers fellas. All in a good cause. Am going to ring the mulberry and Holyhead to forewarn them too. Done this each year since 2011 when I just posted to see if anyone fancied a trip out on the week end with us when we launch our RIB for the season. It's snowballed each yr!! A great community has developed.

I'm weather watching ( I think I'm traumatised by last year in AJs boat with whisper helming) ....
If it looks 'good' I'll be leaving sunny Bournmouth at 4.30-5am ish aiming for Chris at 10.30....

Peter, even if it's rubbish weather, the run to Conwy and back is almost all sheltered and Conwy is well worth the trip!
If weather is really grim we can even have a trip up the river in to the valley. You HAVE to come, you're one of the regulars then

An SR woud be OK - I have an ...Avon Adventure ... (so I'll be on the M6)
I really would like to do both islands again this year ( Isle of wight and Angelsey) in my own little boat - just to show it can be done in a 4m RIB . Already done one isle of wight this year
The run back to recover was a pleasure last year - pretty much from Puffin we finally stopped getting wet and picked up the speed (but then we took Whisper off the controls ..... )
Ideally like to get round Portsmouth again in the sumemr in the SIB..
Triple roundings all round

Just follow Tim&Linda, he can flatten any big waves out for you if it gets bad.
We did that one year bringing IndyR1 in along the bar. We lifted the passengers off and then two of us in 6m + ribs went at displacement speed in front of him to take the lips off the waves during the 1mile trip along Caernarfon bar so that he wasn't getting thrown upwards so much. A long wet ride but we got him in safe!
No one gets left in danger. Can always take them to a safe haven if needed, we all get caught occasionally, it's how we learn.

Chris, I'm travelling down Thursday and was hoping to maybe go to Morfa Nefyn (that is the spot where you can beach in front of the pub?) on the Friday if you fancy it.
