Oh, sounds like that hurt Greg. Thats good news that shes running well. I will let you know if another trip is planned so you can come along, the roof would have been great to keep the rain off whilst watching the lifeboat show.

Of all the place to break down was on the bar The engine just trimmed fully up on its own accord it would not trim back down so I switched the engine off and the pump was still running so I turned off the isolator switch , then Mick in his Ribeye came too the rescue and and we set up a tow line but after about 10 mins the line came off his Ribeye, that's when rocknroller took over the rescue in his Big Osprey vipermax and 200hp of grunt from his etec and quickly attached the line and towed me off the bar and on to ty calch where I anchored up a few meters of shore.

Now some big thank you's,

tony t, thanks for taking the wife onto your boat,,,again.

Mick and rocknroller, thanks for the tow and all your help

Chris Caton and Geoff, thanks for all your help and for watching my rib while I went back to Menai to pick up my trailer you must have been there for a good hour and a half

christycalch, thanks for moving my rib further out as the tide was ebbing, I believe you did it more than once. Also I would just like to mention that Chris tractored my rib and trailer out of the water and he would not take any money of me when I offered it to him on more than one occasion, saying that he was only to glad to help. Chris you are a dam fine chap, all my launches will be by you from now on even if I'm staying on Anglesey, thanks

Now back to mr t Tony thanks for the lift back to Menai and for coming with me to pick up my rib, I hope my high speed trip to Ty calch didn't scare you to much I would just like to say that you look very nice in your BLACK SHADOW DRY SUIT and I will not take the p*ss out of it again ,,honest

Back to the trim, in the boatyard this morning I gave it a try and bu**er me it worked, anyway I'm off the L.P.B. in the morning.

Managed to get all the way round the Island (Clockwise from Trearddur) with "Humper" .... Heard a distress call from Cemlyn Bay about 11:00am as we were passing "The Stacks" ... Went via "The Skerries" but no sign off anything when we looked into Cemlyny Bay, Reached Moelfre about 12:30 and got blasted with water bombs from some unknown ribbers and had to resort to soaking them with a trimmed up engine via the Prop Wash :-) .... They didnt bomb us again :-) !!!.... Lots of RIBS knocking about and spoke to a few who were nothing to do with the RIBnet cruise and as as I didnt know who I was looking for .... Unfortunately did not manage to speak to any of the RIBnet "Possy" but carried on after the Lifeboat Demo clockwise round the Island and up the starights to the Gazelle where we had a couple of well deserved pints as the weather closed in to make the rough and lumpy journey up the starights passed Llandwyn and back up to Trearddur .... Saw what I assume was the last of the RIBnet crew at the slipway on the straits and then as we exited the straits hit the real nast south westerly winds and rain for an somewhat fun but lumpy and rough trip back up to Trearddur .... Mission accomplished ... shame we didnt meet any of you guys ... Did speak to Kerny in the morning but he didnt know what your plan was at the time and heard nothing back.

Mono my apologies, I kept blowing out on channell 8 but it was Telco mike I was calling for and not you, I got my names and numbers mixed up I'm very sorry for not getting back to you, although calling for telco Mike wouldn't help. In the end we went round anti clockwise. Glad you made it all the way round and had a good day.

Shame about the trim problem Capn Kerny, leastways it looks like its not a major problem, and I guess could have been far more embarrassing if you had been on your own.

I'm sure it will all be good next time.

Looks like you had a top time in any case, so overall happy days
