Did you manage to secure a lift for Phil? If not, he's more than welcome on Grimalkin if you can get him to Cowes and then back from the Needles.

Thanks David and Ian
Whisper has offered Phil a lift from Southampton - but we may well take you up on your offer from Cowes to wherever you head back from to give his baby boat an easier time!

I'm looking at refuelling at Yarmouth around 10.30. Am happy to RV with anyone that's around. Phil can hop from boat to boat (he's good at that!). Anyone that sends me a PM, I'm happy to send a mobile number but will be monitoring VHF08 and 16 anyway. I seem to have lost my intended crew through illness, so am looking elsewhere.... I'll be there anyway!

Hope everyone has a great day . The weather looks to be turning into a perfect day for it . Wish I had the time & boat etc to come along but a feel I need a slow day tomorrow so a gentle slow run about in the harbour in the afternoon will do me fine and I wont spill my G&T that way . Manythanks for the offers of a ride.
Look forward to the pictures and HD video up to the usual high standards we are seeing with a good soundtrack ( no pressure ).
Watchout for the biggest danger tomorrow - sunburn !
Pete

Gutted you're not coming Pete, I think Avocet has a seat so there's still time to change your mind and load your G&T into a camelbak

I've found two replacement crew for those that are ill but with only three on board (four if Phil joins us), there's still plenty of room for additional passengers (especially if they bring G&Ts!). Let me know if you change your mind, Pete or if there's anyone else that wants to join us.

We are definitely going now, and will be on the slip at Yarmouth for about 10:15am, so will look out for you there.
I was out at Yarmouth this morning, just checking that the slipway was open, as it's been closed this week. Quite a bit of sea mist, which really made it feel chilly until it cleared later, so if you are coming from inland, be aware that tomorrow morning may be similar.

I want loads of pic lads. I'm laying in a hospital bed after falling of my perch a little and still all I can think of is getting on a boat so feel free to rub it in. Have a really nice day and hope you have no probs
