Round Ireland 2016

I recall that there was a plan to to an Round Britan 2014 ( cancelled due to fuel difficulties) A Round Scotland 2015 ( I am not aware of this event having taken place) and a Round Ireland in 2016 by H.M.S. any word on these or is it safe to say they have been long fingered?

I saw the baots in Westport for the RI in 2013 that was a sight

Hi, round Ireland went ahead in 2013 which was run by HMS. I didn't do this trip.

There were problems arranging fuel for the amount of ribs for Round Britain 2014 so the event was cancelled. However a few people wanted to go so we completed it ourselves via the Caledonian Canal.

Then more or less the same people did Round Scotland this year again off our own backs and back through the Caledonian canal. There was a storm heading in so half the group stayed in the Oban area and the other half cruised from the Kylie Lochalsh to Inverness in one day passing 2 minky Whales on the way. We met everyone back in Oban.

I think next year we are doing the Channel Islands however Giles is also planning Round Denmark 2016.
