Team Scooby just got smaller......
By that I mean I should be getting a new toy tomorrow eve..a Ribcraft :-)
Small is the new big....so a Ribcraft 350 with 25 hp is the boat to have.
It's small and very orange... so I think will be called... Scooby....
I think Mike would approve? :-)
Pics when I get it..:-)

Nothing wrong with the choice of make; but you know you really want to be able to cross the Channel. Not saying that you can't with a 350 and 25hp but rather you then me!
Look forward to seeing the new toy!

Thanks guys. You're welcome to have a go Ian...
I have a feeling it's going to be a small boat but huge huge fun. All the features you'd expect of a bigger version, bonded seats, deep v ish, elephants trunk, ptt...:-).
Just waiting for money to clear and I'll go pick it up..:-)

Scooby
Arrived - seats off to usual guy for recover / seat base replaced .
Usual list of small jobs to check out - a general going over set up trailer better, check electrics ( move switch inside console) , get battery box lid ( just a lid :/ ) . Some TLC for screw holes in console - lots of odd holes over the years but nothing major.
Under deck holding air pressure (by the hiss as I removed the bung)
Engine starts runs and stops OK - power TT on a 25 - !
Seems the boat was vaguely local to me at some point - RIBS MARINE in Christchurch sticker on it , possibly sold to Portsmouth Sea scouts and then to Amersham Sea scouts under the name of 'Gentle Touch' ?
Hoping to get things sorted for a bank holiday run out/ RIBCRAFT fest...

Rather than clutter up the thread - can the mods start a new thread form post 263 under a suitable heading ?
Thanks all - its homage to a several great boats - all SR4s ( chris C ) , Small Ribcrafts / big ribcrafts , Lilly of Lyme - anything orange ( not a rusty splitpin orange) .
Hopefully well have a fleet gathering soon - 3.5 , 4.2 ? 4.8 , 585 , 750
