Help!!!!!
Does anyone launching from Calshot on Sunday have two seats spare in their boat for a donation to macmillan?
Our dream of going RIOW in our own rib took a serious dent today see this thread for details?

With B&B and curry booked were coming down anyway but it would be great to actually do the cruise with someone if possible.
Cheers
Rob

C2ribs has some spare seats for a suitable Macmillan donation. I could take 2 people at displacement speed sitting on the tubes to rendezvous with Ian just off Calshot slip

It's a 8.5m Gemini hull, fitted out by Ribeye, with Yamaha 300 so you will have a good trip round. My wife did the trip last year on that very boat and loved it.

Thanks Chris
I've just sent Ian a PM so if we can grab two seats then a lift out with you from Calshot would be great.
Cheers

I'd have room for 1 or 2 (standing) to make an RV with Ian as well.
On a slightly different point, have the smaller Team Scooby craft all made provision for any additional fuel they might need to be carried?

I'm taking 50 litres onboard which will get me all the way round with a healthy reserve.

I'll have one seat available for a rendezvous with C2Rib if required.
100 litres in my tanks and 44 litres in a couple of Barrus tanks should see me ok as far as go juice is concerned!

For those of you who haven't done it before, don't forget that you should be able to top-up in Yarmouth if you're getting worried about fuel for the last leg back down the Solent (assuming you're starting from Calshot).

Hi
I will be carrying 60 litres the same as I did last year which was enough for me (55 HP 2 stroke SR4). As others have said we can re fuel at Yarmouth.

In 2012 I used almost 75 litres from the Itchen Bridge to Yarmouth in an SR4.7 Yam 70 2 smoke, 2 up.
I put another 25 litres in at Yarmouth to get back.
Oh, and I was at WOT the whole way round

About 2am last night on the M1 !
I swear the boat has done more miles on the trailer than on the sea ![nonono](https://www.rib.net/forum/images/smilies/nonono.gif)
Got down about 6am this morning, time for a few hours sleep now.

Thanks for all the offers of seats guys I might have to take someone up on an offer but I have been thrown a lifeline by Mike at South Coast Marine.
He has an ignition switch in stock so we're going to tow the boat down Saturday, fit it and see if that sorts the problem. We may yet manage to go RIOW in our own rib.
Cheers
Rob

Hope that's the fix, as its a long way to tow it if not - but at least more chance of it getting fixed at South Coast Marine... Good Luck!
