I had 90L on board because I know it gets through it fast, just didn't realise how much better the newer stuff is. Not often you get to compare on the same trip, same day, same speed (ish) ect

That would be nice, perhaps RV point in Studland Bay, then along coast, large stretch up to St Aldhelms Head you can cruise very near the cliff edge, might be some interesting overfalls by that point depending upon weather, lots to see along way, lunch in weymouth or weymouth bay if weymouth cant accomodate 60 ribs.

sounds like fun.

I heard a tale last night that the ride hovercraft was hopping mad as it couldn't get off the beach for nearly a quarter of an hour because of the constant stream of ribs going past there exit point, he told me you need to give way to commercial shipping, I did argue in our favour, technically it's a plane and the captain is a pilot, I think he took it in good humour

We always give way to hover speed and for once they can sit back and wait as this was for charity and they are robin bastards

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the day, and it looks like you all had great fun too - I'm jealous! I would have loved to have come but Kieron has my boat currently for a bit of work.

The amount raised is fantastic, and the MacRib is a credit to you all! Well done guys!

Well if it was sitting on the beach how were we to know it wanted to leave?
I forget to mount my crystal ball on the console yesterday.
