I think you could join either team - depends on whether you want to play with the smaller ribs or mix it with the larger boats.

As one of the smallest ribs last year, we had to work quite hard to keep up, and more importantly keep in clean water as the big boys powered past at 35kts+.

After the first leg where we were a bit slow getting away & spent the whole time in very dirty water kicked up by 40 other boats we tried to run at the front of, and wide of the pack which worked well.

After the total refurb on the hull, paint, polish and wax, I'll be very upset if it doesn't reach 40.

Of course, I wouldn't 'cruise' at anything like that

Team Scooby is about speed we will be cruising at 20 knots where possible. if your boat is capable of more and you WANT to do more join the shaggies. bigger boats that are happy to go slower and wish to support are very welcome

Round twice or three times?

I'm hoping (if the weather holds up) to use about 25 :-) .

I love a nice economical injected four stroke.

At the end of the day we'll all meet before we round the corner to the needles so we can get a couple of pics of us all together.
