Feel free to add your name to the list in this document,

which makes it a bit easier for folks to find/contact you if they are looking for a spare seat.

If anyone else is launching from calshot I would recommend this place for breakfast, might be a squeeze with a rib on the back though...

Okey, dokey, looks like myself and the Leader of the Opposition will be able to make it down to join you.
She's presently looking for some suitable accommodation for the Friday - Sunday but if any of you fellow nobburs can recommend anywhere within striking distance of Calshot, she'd be delighted to to receive appropriate guidance!

To be honest I would be very tempted to Launch at Calshot and stay on the island in Cowes, The Anchor is very good. Or rent BIffer's house on the Island as that is excellent
However if you want to come out for a curry with us on the Sat then there is a B&B near by that my sister in law stayed in once and said it was ok b&b Fawley cheap bed and breakfast guest house near Marchwood New Forest > A superb guest house near Beaulieu Motor Show, Exbury, Hythe, Marchwood & Southampton.
We also get free camping at the folly inn

Nice one
It's quite a big place but it does get full with the locals at a weekend so probably best to book some thing now?

Oh yeah, it doesn't serve alcohol so you have to bring your own which makes it a really cheap meal out
There is a CO-OP just up the road
But you can't bring in soft drinks, you have to order them from the bar

Can one of you guys with local knowledge let me know what the craic is at Calshot slipway? I know I could look on Boatlaunch but when there's such a wealth of knowledge on here, it seems a waste not to tap it!
Is there anywhere local to Calshot to securely leave the boat overnight, for instance?
