Thanks Ian, so that's £5 for helming Gemineye over Easter, and another £5 for a helm on the day if Gemineye is available.
Only 15 ribs and £75 to go. Lets see if we can get all 18 / 19 drives organised before this weekend is over.

I have an open door on that day and if Gemineye is free I will offer additional seats for the run.

For the benefit of people joining this thread today you can read my post from yesterday quoted below.
A ver big thank you to Leeargyle, Landlord, C2ribs (if Gemineye is available that day), Lakeland terrier and Whisper for allowing me to have a few miles at the helm in their ribs on the round island trip. So I'm donating £25 for helming those ribs round the island, and £5 for helming Onboard Charters "Rascal " all day Easter Sunday, and £5 for helming C2 Ribs new "Gemineye" also over Easter,
So that is £35 promised from me so far. I want to pay more so need another 13 kind people to allow me to helm their rib for a few miles of the circumnavigation with them beside me. I promise to take very good care of your rib and will not be abusing it at all. If I get the full 18 ribs promised I will add a further £30 bonus making the total pledged £130.
So who else wants to help me "helm" round the island in eighteen different ribs towards this worthy cause?
Chris

I promise to take care of your rib and you will be beside me ensuring I do. I guess it's around 3NM in each rib. I will be helming "Onboard Rascal" on Easter Sunday, and will probably be helming C2 Ribs new Gemini before then, so that's £10 already. Just need another 18 ribs.
So who's up for raising another £90 from me, let me know.
Chris

I didn't know but I do now.
So previously driven ribnet owned boats:
C2 ribs Bulls Eye
Onboard charters Onboard Rascal
Saber Powersports Honda race boat H39
Saber Powersports. Honda race boat H40 (not exactly sure it was H39 and H40 but I have driven two different Hondas at Saber)
Saber Powersports. Mercury Hypercat
C2 ribs Gemineye
So that is 6 ribnet owned boats and therefore £30
Drives pledged on the day of the round the island
Lee Argyle
Landlord
Lakelandterrier
Whisper
Ian M
C2 Ribs (possibly)
Six boats so another £30
So I am up to £60 so far. I still need drives in another 12 ribs at around 3nm per rib to get me right round the island. And this morning I agreed to a £30 bonus if we managed to get the full 18 drives. So there is the potential to extract 150 of my hard earned pounds in total. Anyone else prepared to promise me a drive on the day?
Chris

Thank you very much David.
I now have offers from 7 boats so at roughly 3NM per boat that gets me helming approx 21nm so far
If I can get enough offers to get me helming right round the island we can raise even more money as I can then ask friends, colleagues and customers to sponsor me for "driving a selection of ribs all the way round the island".
Anyone else prepared to offer me 3nm helming their rib, I really want to donate more (I'm up to a £65 donation from me so far based on Ribnet boats previously helmed, or will be helmed on the day), and if possible raise even more money by getting sponsorship.
