Thanks stingray that is now 8 boats and 24nm. We have just passed the overfalls just west of Saint Catherines point. Who wants to get me another 3nm up the coast?

So I am up to £60 so far. I still need drives in another 12 ribs at around 3nm per rib to get me right round the island. And this morning I agreed to a £30 bonus if we managed to get the full 18 drives. So there is the potential to extract 150 of my hard earned pounds in total. Anyone else prepared to promise me a drive on the day?
Chris

Hi Chris,
You are welcome to have a go in Bluesbreaker, if you can lower yourself to driving a fairly aged Avon Adventure.

Thanks bucksribster. No lowering required, you have a rib, and at present I don't, so you are way way higher than me
Just to update people that makes 11 ribs kindly offered for me to helm, which gets me from Cowes to around 3nm short of The Needles. Who wants to get me to The Needles, then I'm on the home straight
This makes my pledge up to £85, and if we can get me helming the full trip I will pledge a total of £150 as previously promised. Once I get boats sorted for the full trip I will try my hardest to get at least another £150 sponsorship from other people so we can raise £300 + (I already have the sponsorship form from Macmillan).
Here is the map so far
