Update
I've been thinking constantly about the final plan and what the cruise will look like on the day and to be honest it's a tough one as it's all down to the weather.
At the moment it looks very doable and I'm sure that we will have a great time
There is one thing that is bugging me and that is the stop at Ventnor for lunch, it's very ambitious to attempt this with so many boats so I think the best thing is that we don't stop for lunch.
We will still have a few short stops of 5 - 10 mins at Whitecliff bay, Ventnor, Freshwater Bay The Needles and Alum Bay as these are in the plan to take in the scenery and for any boat to catch up with the main group.
It will be best to pack easy to eat (snack) food for the way round and also plenty of water etc that will be easy to pass round your crew when there's a chance.
High tide is at 12:20 at Ventnor so I think we should take advantage of this and push on around St Catherine's as this bit can be tricky in certain conditions.
Obviously I want to make this as safe and as comfortable as possible for everyone and I feel this is the best way
I'll update our on line document to reflect the above and post a link when it has been done

A massive rafted picnic as not a bad idea. Pasties, scones with jam and cream. Washed down with a couple of bottles of Betty Stoggs, 'ansome. ;-)

Sadly I cant come now. Two weeks ago my mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Today she had 8 hours of surgery - and the battle lies ahead. Two weeks ago she also met her MacMillan nurse - Charlie! What an amazing person - and what an amazing charity. I wont be there, but I'm delighted to offer my support to this fantastic day. All the best chaps....
Matt

Think nickin' yer pasties depends on where you get them.
Rowes, Oggies, Presto or Choakes?

Ah, having attended Penryn School (Rowe's bakery is all but in the school grounds), I've always been a Rowe's fan, but there's now a new bakery in Fal which pips the lot. ;-)
