Whisper, revised plan sounds good to me, good idea re lunch

As I've not done a long run in this rib I spent last weekend albeit in a quite calm Solent racking up a few miles and managed about 67nm on just under half a tank, so ready for Sunday and will get round without refilling

Big winds forecast on bbc 10 o'clock weather report for Friday but that high pressure should push in for us - fingers crossed!!

Heathen. My sons both went to Penryn School and dined on Rowes for years, if there's a better one in town I might have to get me down there and try one.
At the last count I knew of eight Pasty Shops in Fal, can there really be a new one better than all of them?

Any children participating?

Hi,
We are new to this forum and very keen to participate on Sunday. We have a 2 year old son accompanying us and wondering what speed everyone will be travelling at? He's been out with us plenty. We are just wondering how many ribs are planning to participate and if there are any other younger ones on board?

Thanks.

Evening Viper,

I will have my nine year old boy and 11 year old daughter with me; though not 2, they do a good impression of being 2 years old!

Due to the possible high number of RIBS and crews getting together for this Round IOW challenge, Solent Coast Guard have been informed and have added it to the Watch Diary for Sunday

The CG have been given the basic information of possible numbers, RV, route around and finishing port. Individual vessel details have not been passed just a possible number of RIBs that may be circumnavigating the IOW in support of Whisper.

I trust that's not a euphanism.

So what fare will the pasty rib be purveying...and at what price???

Will you be selling them warm (heated under the engine cowl) and will we be liable for VAT?

What currency is used in Cornwall? Do they still accept glas beads?

If I get time, I'll 'export' a box or two.

Viper, I have my 4 yo Grandson and 10 yo dog with me, I certainly will not be racing round, this is a pleasure cruise in my eyes.

Look out for us ELLIE IV, Zodiac, Cherrokee, grey in colour. launching from Christchurch.

Steve

No point in the big trawlers tearing off, the tiddlers wont keep up. Keep it steady.

Looking forward to it Mollers!

Being a Devonian gentleman (by Act of Parliament) I'll refrain from any (un?)savoury remarks!
