The list of boats show three starting from Poole (although I know of at least three more 'possibles') and three from Christchurch. I am currently thinking of leaving the marina at 8.00am with a RV off the RMYC at 8.15. That should put us off Christchurch around 8.45 (or slightly later after allowing for faffing) to meet up with the Christchurch boats.
We'll be topping up with fuel in Yarmouth around 9.15 which looks like being the sort of time that the Yarmouth/Lymington boats will be setting off.
Does that seem reasonable? We'll be monitoring Ch08 and Ch16 and MMSI as opposite.
Looking forward to it. David.

Hi David I am out of Cobb`s quay and will be picking up a ralphy at Yarmouth at 9 ish being told its approx hour to Wotton speed dependent !! as I am based in Cheshire with boat in south where exactly is the RMYC ( I use to be based at Saltern`s if that help`s reference point wise !! )
Thanks David 07860437985

The Royal Motor Yacht Club (RMYC) is on the Sandbanks peninsular in the North Channel just by where it meets the Main Channel and is about midway between Salterns and the chain ferry. If we meet there at around 8.10 that should get us to Yarmouth for 9.00 or just after if Ralphy doesn't mind waiting a couple of minutes!

Good news! Another forum member, gtb is in a similar position to my circumstances. We've decided to join forces on board mine for the day if he can't find crew by tomorrow.
However I still have two spaces available, and really need at least one more crew to make the trip really fund raising effective.
So anyone else want to come? Leaving Haslar at about 9am

Yippee! The boat is fixed! The forecast is not looking bad, and so I'm all set
