Only on Ribnet could we find probably the only nudist beach on the island for some photos and choose the choppiest place on the cruise for a floating picnic!

Awesome work

Alex, thanks for getting the ball rolling and on organizing this trip. I'm pretty sure you had an agreement with the Big guy above on booking the weather for the day.

Saturday I found myself with a problem. I thought I was just going to replace one length of hose to solve a fuel transducer problem, but on removal I found quite a bit of debris stuck in the end of the fuel transducer hose tail This warranted a further strip down and flush though and installation of a pre-filter late on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday, Andre and Tim (AKA: gtb) and myself set off to launch at Haslar. We met up with Swedishjedi at the lightship and set course for No Mans Land Fort. It was an impressive sight watching 30+ RIBs gunning their way towards us. I captured nearly the entire circumnavigation (until the battery died off Cowes) of video footage, Over the coming days I'll edit it down to a sensible length, I've had a quick peek and there are some great shots

The only thing that remains to be said is that it was and real pleasure to cruise with such a lovely bunch of people, it was great to meet up with old friends and new alike and thanking everyone that made this cruise possible.

An image I'll not forget quickly: watching Ottilia and crew leap completely clear of the water, using the trailing bow wave of that massive tanker. I'd have bet good money that such a large boat and heavy engine would not get airbourne, but there was definitely clear air under you, and the scream of a high rev'ing engine!

Good job

A great day and well done to all involved - especially Whisper for coming up with the idea and organising it.

Here's few photos taken by Mrs A for those in them: many more taken from Grimalkin by Chris of Lazy Blue Skies on Facebook at Lazyblueskiesphotography where a full set is available for a £20.00 donation to Macmillan.

Yes great pics!

I also used about 56 litres with my rib raft 585 and Suzuki df140 which is a lot less than last year in my 4.7 searider with a yam 70 2 smoke!

Anyone think the guy fishing in his Shetland off Bembridge has forgiven us all yet. ... or the guy in the scorpion just inside Hurst. ...

Been chuckling all day thinking about what they must have thought as they got rocked about a bit.
