Hopefully everyone who wanted pics of this has them now ? If not please let me know ASAP as I'll be taking them out of my dropbox in the next week or two. Of course they will still be available to everyone in the future ( just PM me) .

I've also spent the day with 'photo Chris' again who mentioned a need for safety boats at an event on/round/ near Hayling Island in September - so watch this space !

I'm wondering if there is running total available from Whisper .......?

( and yes its 4.40 in the morning and I'm awake again ..can I go boating yet ?)

Another good reason why everyone should feel proud about this is that this cruise was 100% funded by those who took part. As soon as any money was donated via our Just Giving page 100% of it was transferred immediately to Macmillan Cancer Support. If those who donated clicked on the uk tax payer button when donating, Just Giving were also able to claim your tax back from the government and it is from this money that they took a small percentage to cover the cost of giving this service.

All our advertising was done in this thread and other posts on Rib.net by its members and also some advertised it on their facebook pages too. Some of our trade members including C2 ribs used their companies to promote what we were doing with great success.

I had been offered banners t-shirts balloons etc from Macmillan but I declined this as I really wanted every penny to make a difference so instead they sent me a couple of T-shirts just incase someone questioned what we were doing. One was on my rib and the other was on Landlord's Osprey.

But really this was all down to the power of the Rib.net members!

Well done you lot
