Just need whisper to start a new 2014 thread... come on (and let's hear about the whispermax progress!)
I'm currently working on the 1st post for round IOW 2014 now

Whispermax is still top secret I have done the sea trials and she is packed full of Osprey Awesomeness More info to follow when the time is right However I can say that she will be the launch of the new Vipermax Special Edition and she hasn't been built to blend in with the crowd

You know I said I liked that pastel blue scorpion.....I'm really hoping you didn't take much notice as pastel pink will clash big time with the strawberry blonde look your rockin....:-)...

Will it have wing back seats? I heard they're the best......

sounds very interesting, think this needs a bit of a looking at when it's launched, I'm happy to say my SR4 has a bit of Osprey magic

Whisper, can the Round Anglesey cruise help in anyway for Macmillan? With 25 or so boats signed up now, and your presence being mentioned, could we re-brand, or do the hog roast for a Macmillan Profit. Or Matt H could drive each boat for a £5 again etc etc

Just a thought.....

Whisper On the Anglesey thread they have put forward offering T-shirts for the event and the profits going to Macmillan, is that something you do on the IOW run?

If not what do you think?

I might offer a "Team Scooby" round the Isle of Wight 2014 one profits to macmillan.

Again?? i didnt do it the first time.. Eh HP .. also you could have a go also, its been so long since you saw water that a few lessons may be the way to go first!

Just make sure you don't practice with a Evinrude,, i did,, it cut out and look at the consequences

Ha, i did debate who had done it, but i couldnt be ar*ed looking through the thread. Who was it that hopped from boat to boat?

As for me doing it, well maybe that is an idea, though i have promised to take a friend on ours at the moment. Have you seen Tim and Linda are auctioning their 9m Humber with twin 200 etecs out for the day!!! Theyre following in a searider. Now that sounds fun!!

RIBase
It was me.

I circumnavigated the IOW in 9 separate ribs, smallest was around 5m and largest was around 10m. Horsepower ranged from around 60hp up to a whopping 696hp

The best fun boat was by no means the longest or biggest horsepower.

It was a fabulous day and I raised a fair few hundred pounds for the MacMillan pot.

Next year i'm doing it in a Searider 4.0

Chris
