An early planned trip to scot seats today, they sponsored us with a set of FOX Air Shocks! We weren't expecting that! Spent some time at the factory then back to Largs...

Couldn't really test them today but met up with Craig again and sampled his secret fishing spot! Got loads of mackerel and cod. Got his Redbay a bit bloody... Sorry dude! But thanks again for all the local knowledge

Took this pic before my battery died...

Great thread guy's, Largs is my launching slip as well, it's good you are getting a chance to see the area rather than flying through at speed, i was out twice last week around most of where youv'e been so far, keep the pics coming and good luck on the round scotland. (:
Craig, where did you get the macky's, my boy was fishing last week and never got so much as a sniff, he's blaming me. (:

Gerry.

Day 1 of the main cruise today. Down to the Mull of Kintyre, up to Craighouse on Jura for a late lunch and then on to Dunstaffnage.

Nice day for it guys! AFAIK, the all tide pontoon on Gigha has been installed, so an option if you're running late.

Not sure if you were aware of the problem on the Caledonian canal (stuck bridge at Inverness closed to boats and cars!). If you were you will be pleased to here it has been fixed and by the time you arrive all will be back to normal.
