I was asked to be their as helmsman of the lifeboat. I declined this shift and gave it to someone else, but will be on the lifeboat from 8 until 12.

We have a 4 berth static home on Waverley Park camp site.
Minimum you can rent for is 3 nights though, but its still a bargain compared to Cowes Hotels. Which are all full anyway.
I would ring up the tourist info office and say can you find us something. I'm sure there will be something if you dont mind a taxi ride.

I'll be doing safety boat from 4.00am....in the rain.
Seemed like such a good idea at the time! Will be looking forward to a pint on Saturday evening if I can stay awake.
See you out there

Bit of advice needed from someone who understands these yachtie things - the RTI website says it's going to be a 'quick race' this year because of the wind. What's anybody’s best guess on the time the first boats are likely to finish?? Need to decide if we’re going to chase them round or head them off at the pass!!
Thanks
Andy
